I extended the length to make a dress. I added side pockets (instead of the kangaroo pocket) and sewed it down to the front so it droop or fall to the back. I omitted the hood and cut a neckband instead. I also narrowed the sleeves at the fold line and closed the gap underneath the armpit. I stitched up 5 1/2 inches from the bottom of the sleeve after hemming the sleeve which closes the large gap.
I used a Lyocell 93% and Spandex 7% striped fabric from Joann fabrics. I absolutely love the way the dress turned out. It's elegant enough to dress up and casual enough to dress down.
