S8656 Patternhack
I made another Simplicity 8656 top. This time I added elastic to a lengthened waistband. I tapered the sleeve to make it look more like a dolman sleeve. I did not cut the front piece on the fold so I would have 2 pieces to add a separating zipper. I added patch pockets in the front. I finished the neckline with bias binding as a facing. After wearing it, I noticed the front kept gaping open so I added 2 darts in the front.
I don’t remember where I got the fabric from, but it’s like a ponte knit in black and white stripes.
Next time, I may add a hood.
